About the Scholarship
Aimed at ensuring that the children of drivers and mechanics continue their education.
Organizer: Valvoline Cummins Pvt. Ltd.
Eligibility:
Students of Classes 9–12.
Must be from southern, eastern, or northeastern India.
Children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV), mechanics, or from EWS families.
60%+ in previous class, family income ≤ ₹8 lakh.
Benefit: Up to ₹12,000/year for tuition, books, uniform, stationery + mentorship support (goal-setting, road safety, confidence building).
Documents: Aadhaar, admission proof, previous marksheet, parent’s profession proof, income proof, bank details, photo.
Application: Apply online via Buddy4Study; multi-step process with shortlisting, document check, telephonic interaction, interviews, and final approval.
Renewal: Possible if student scores 60%+ and provides proof of promotion/receipts.
